Aptitude Habilitation Services is comprised of three interrelated divisions:
Therapeutic and Rehabilitation Services -- We actively recruit health care and educational providers in the various fields, to serve in hospitals, schools, and care facilities.
Positive Behavior Intervention Services -- We provide home, community, and school-based support and services. There are two levels of service providers within
our organizations. Our Tutors are college students, public school paraprofessionals, teachers, parents, and community members who have advanced degrees or equivalent professional experience. Our Supervisors are Board Certified Behavior Analysts and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts who assist with assessments, program planning and implementation. Supervisors also provide parent and staff training. All providers are rigorously screened and trained in the principles of positive behavioral support and applied behavioral analysis (ABA).
Online Training and Technical Support --One of the unique features of Aptitude Habilitation Services is that we offer an Innovative Learning
Management System of online training for our providers and clients. Our
providers participate in Standard Universal Precautions, CPR, First
Aid, and other relevant human resource related trainings. Our
organization’s staff contributes to ongoing trainings, such as applied
behavioral analysis, relational frame theory, verbal behavior,
integration of sensory-motor strategies with positive behavioral
supports, and social-pragmatic strategies. These trainings can be
completed anywhere with Internet access. Our staff
is provided with the necessary assessment tools, curriculum and
technology to effectively meet the requirements of their positions.
Additionally, professionals from our Therapeutic and Rehabilitative
Services provide technical support to assist with treatments,
implementation, coding, SOAP notes, etc.
